Holy Trinity Parish is blessed to have many faithful young stewards who grow in their faith by participating in our Young Adult Ministry. The Young Adult Ministry started at Holy Trinity in 2020 and has been a "home" for many of our parishioners and young adults from neighboring parishes. They gather each week on Thursday in the Youth Room at 6:30 p.m. to grow in their faith, knowledge of scripture and church tradition, prayer, and fellowship. We talked with one of the ministry members, Amber, about her experience over the past four years. 

 

What do you love about this ministry? "I love the friendships and community that it has made. Being able to be with people your own age who share in your faith and values has been such a refreshing comfort. I love that we get to come together and openly talk about our faith and be able to dive deeper into it."

 

How has your participation helped you grow in your community and your faith? "It has helped me grow in my faith by holding me accountable to give something back to God. Some nights it might feel like a sacrifice to go because other things are going on in life that feel more important, but consciously making it a point to go instead of backing out helps to remind me to put Christ first. This has helped be a reminder to put Christ first in other aspects of my life as well. "

 

Why should other people join? "We can always have more young people come even if it’s not all the time. We always have a great time getting together. It helps to ground you in your faith and realize, especially in our current society and world views, that you are not alone in your walk of life. So many other young people do share your Catholic faith and values and knowing that helps encourage you to want to strengthen and grow your faith."
